Charakterystyka kierunku:

Kierunek Doradztwo polityczne i publiczne należy do obszarów kształcenia w zakresie nauk społecznych. Kierunek ten jest umiejscowiony zarówno w otoczeniu teoretycznym (niezbędna wiedza z zakresu nauk politycznych, dziennikarstwa, filozofii) jak i praktycznym. Doradztwo polityczne i publiczne łączy w sobie wiedzę ogólną, dotyczącą mechanizmów kierujących funkcjonowaniem współczesnych państw, idei i prądów umysłowych wpływających na kształtowanie społeczeństw, a tym samym powoływanych przez nie organizacji, a także praktyczne umiejętności przydatne przy konstruowaniu strategii komunikacyjnych oraz badaniu trendów politycznych.

Perspektywy zawodowe:

Absolwenci kierunku Doradztwo polityczne i publiczne I stopnia są przygotowani do pracy w instytucjach publicznych, biurach poselskich i senatorskich, w organizacjach politycznych, organach jednostek samorządu terytorialnego, w szczególności w obszarze projektowania i realizacji kampanii społecznych i politycznych oraz projektowania kampanii medialnych. Mogą także pracować w agencjach public relations, jak również wykonywać zawód rzecznika prasowego, analityka opinii publicznej, doradcy ds. wizerunku politycznego, kierownika i pracownika sztabów wyborczych. Mogą zajmować się coachingiem politycznym oraz być trenerem w firmach szkoleniowych. Zajęcia praktyczne i teoretyczne prowadzone w ramach studiów otwierają studentom drogę do pełnienia zdobywającej coraz większą popularność profesji king makera. 

Absolwenci po ukończeniu studiów potrafią samodzielnie zaprojektować i zorganizować badania diagnostyczne kampanii społecznych i politycznych oraz dokonywać pomiaru ich skuteczności. Umiejętnie planują i realizują strategie marketingowe wraz z samodzielnym projektowaniem nowoczesnych materiałów reklamowych i wyborczych (plakaty, ulotki, spoty i materiały multimedialne) i wyborem nośników tych materiałów z uwzględnieniem odbiorcy docelowego (dokonania segmentacji rynku). Ponadto absolwenci potrafią budować wizerunek partii politycznych i polityków oraz tworzyć i zarządzać markami politycznymi. Umiejętności i kompetencje zdobywane przez absolwentów predestynują ich również do zakładania własnych firm doradztwa i consultingu politycznego.

If an exam from a given subject was passed on two levels, the higher of the scores will be taken under consideration.

Manner of calculating the final result:
W = a x P + b x M + c x J + d x X

where:

W – candidate's final result;

P – result from Polish

M – result from maths/other subject

J – result from a modern foreign language

X – result from additional subject

a, b, c — weights – multiple 5%

"Old" Polish maturity exam

In the case of the candidates who took the “old” Polish maturity exam, the results of particular subjects taken orally or in writing (specified in the relevant programme admission criteria for candidates who passed the “new” Polish maturity exam), placed on the certificate of secondary education and certificate issued by Regional Examinations Board, are taken into consideration.

The method of converting results of the Polish maturity exam is adjusted to the evaluation system for the candidates who took the “new” Polish maturity exam.

The maturity exam grades will be converted to percentage points as follows:

In the case when there are programme entrance exams, both the results of these exams and the results of maturity exams are taken into consideration.

International Baccalaureate

The candidate who obtained the International Baccalaureate diploma, issued by the International Baccalaureat Organization based in Geneva, are subject to the same admission rules as holders of “new” Polish maturity exam. The results on the diploma of International Baccalaureate are calculated according to the following indicators:

In case the candidate does not submit the International Baccalaureate diploma, for the sake of qualification, the candidate is obliged to submit the certificate about the IB result issued by the appropriate institution and present the IB diploma immediately after its reception.

NOTE: If the admissions criteria for the programme assume additional entrance exams for the holders of “new” Polish maturity exams, the following factors are concerned during the qualification: result from IB diploma calculated according to the scale above and the results of the additional entrance exam.

European Baccalaureate

The candidate who obtained the European Baccalaureate diploma, issued by European Schools in accordance to the Luxemburg Convention of 21 June 1994 about the European School status, are subject to the same admission rules as holders of “new” Polish maturity exam. The results on the diploma of European Baccalaureate are treated as results of the extended “new” Polish maturity exams and are calculated according to the following indicators:

Secondary education certificate, or equivalent, obtained outside of Poland

The candidate who has obtained the secondary school graduation certificate (or another document) issued outside Poland may apply for studies. The document has to entitle the holder to undertaking Bachelor studies in the country in which the document was issued.

For candidates which are Polish citizens or apply for studies on the same rules as Polish citizens, the admission procedures defined in the programme’s description apply.

Foreign candidates applying for studies on other basis (tuition-paying, tuition-free, scholarships) are accepted for studies under regulations other than noted in the admission criteria. 
 

If programme’s admission criteria require mark in Polish language :
The candidates applying as Polish citizens or on the same rules as Polish, which finished secondary education outside Poland, will have the mark of that country’s language taken into account instead of Polish language mark.

Note: If programme’s admission criteria under “new” Polish maturity exam include additional entrance exams the results of BOTH entrance exam and secondary school graduation certificate are considered.
